IN PARTNERSHIP WITH VINNIE’S NORTHBAY

We are known as an industry leader within the Airstream community and beyond.

Our product was originally developed to combat the corrosion Airstreams are prone to form. Over the years, our reputation for exceptional exterior RV protection has become industry wide.

Normal clear coat has hardness between 2H and 4H but ours is a 9H. Our coating prevents surface scratches from impacting your factory foundation by adding an extra layer of protection that preserves your original finish.

Any surface scratches that happen to our coating are easily removed with light polishing.

Our coating protected this rig after it was driven through a chain link fence!

After dealing with the theft of their Airstream the owners of the rig were told by insurance that it was a total loss due to the scratches across it’s aluminum skin. Fortunately, they’d had our permanent coating applied and it was so durable that the jagged metal fencing didn’t even touch the rig’s original clear coat!

Your paint won’t fade or age and any pinstriping stays looking brand new under our coating.

Our coating is the preventative measure that keeps the outside of your investment looking like the day you bought it by protecting against scratches, oxidation and corrosion.

The evolution of Vinnie’s Northbay Airstream & Master Applied Coatings

Vinnie’s Northbay Airstream Repair has a decades long reputation for providing the highest quality repairs and modifications in the Airstream industry. When Vinnie Lamica partnered with Master Applied Coatings their ceramic application took exterior RV protection to the next level and became the industry gold standard.

Vinnie’s is on the west coast in Sacramento, California and over the years there were consistent calls for service on the east coast. In 2021 Vinnie found a location in the college town of Tallahassee, Florida. That 20K square foot facility is temperature and humidity controlled, and Vinnie’s Northbay has expanded to this location for limited Airstream repairs. In 2024 Master Applied Coatings found an exceptional facility in Argyle, TX, a suburb of Dallas.

Testimonials

  • "We couldn’t be happier with the ceramic coating on our 2021 Airstream Classic. Briston and his team were very professional with attention to detail. Our trailer looks better now than it did on the showroom floor and we have assurance of protection from the elements for years to come."

  • I was thrilled to hear Vinnie and Bryan were opening a shop in Tallahassee. I've got a 20 year old Airstream and after the ceramic coating people think it's new. It's a breeze to wash now as well and I never have to wax it again. Briston and his team go out of their way to be sure their customers are taken care of. I can't speak highly enough of their customer service and attention to detail. What I love even more than a great product is when it's paired with people who care. And that is what you'll get here. Thanks, Briston!

  • "I knew that having my Airstream and truck ceramic coated was a good idea, but it turned out to be insurance I didn't know that I needed. I couldn't avoid a spill from a cement truck and drove my Airstream and tow vehicle through the cement slurry. The ceramic glass coating alIowed me to literally rinse the dried mixture off of my vehicles without a scratch."

  • "Love my ceramic coating! We’ve only had it for a short time, but I drove almost 800 miles home after pick up through the Florida panhandle and Louisiana in early summer. We had a few bugs on the top front, but 90% of them hosed off easily. The shine and lack of perpetual water spots is glorious!"

  • "So impressed with the Tallahassee team at 431B Capital Circle NW. I want to thank the whole company for being so professional, knowledgeable and patient. Courtney, you definitely are the right person for your job. Nice to always talk to a real person who knows what she is talking about and with a smile!"
