As our products continue to evolve we recognize that the best way to serve the needs of each customer is to formulate our products for the material composition of the vehicle.
Our coating is proprietary and we’re continually working with our chemists to formulate the hardest, most durable products in the industry.
This is why MAC has expanded our offerings to meet the needs of each customer with specialized services rather than a one size fits all coating.
MAC Jacket is our proprietary coating and industry gold standard of exterior protection. It’s beyond ceramic and forms a permanent molecular bond to your vehicle’s original factory foundation.
Jacket
This product is formulated to be a permanent coating to protect against corrosion, oxidation, stains, scratches and UV, and it must be sanded off to be removed. This service offers:
Complete exterior detailing
Removal of swirl marks and light scratches
Includes treating filiform corrosion
Permanent coating with one application
Cost is approximately $195 a foot
If your rig is aluminum or has a painted finish and you plan on keeping your rig six years or longer, then MAC Jacket is the product for you. It provides superior protection and will be less expensive than yearly waxing.
Glāz is a proprietary wax that is formulated to last one year. This product offers excellent shine and protection that is superior to off the shelf wax at a big box store.

Glāz packs a big punch and our detailing plus machine application are top notch! Note: Glace’ needs to be applied at least once a year and is not formulated to protect against corrosion or scratches.
StrataCoat is formulated for rigs that have oxidation or damage to the original factory finish. This formula is suitable for older rigs and those with more porous finishes that aren’t a good fit for our permanent Jacket.
StrataCoat
This proprietary coating slowly dissolves and needs to be reapplied every three years. This is the best application on the market for older rigs and the safest way to protect their surface long term.

UV causes the gel coating on fiberglass, even marine grade, to eventually break down and that causes the chalky finish that is prone to form. StrataCoat is formulated specifically for older fiberglass rigs and those with more porous surfaces.
Filiform corrosion occurs when moisture meets metal through a scratch in the clear coat and allows the filiform to spread like a spider web on top of the aluminum.
Corrosion Arrest
Airstreams are known to form filiform corrosion. This package is for customers who don’t want MAC Jacket or Glace’ but do want MAC’s expert arrest of corrosion. This application offers:
Arrest of visible corrosion by etching out the root.
Applying MAC Jacket coating over the exposed area to prevent moisture from reentering the impacted area.
Cost is determined by area of repair
We highly recommend treating corrosion in the early stage to prevent additional damage. Etching out the corrosion and sealing it is the only way to eliminate the filiform. Our repair will be visible but the damage will be stopped. MAC Jacket will only be applied over the areas that were targeted for filiform arrest.
Attention to detail because prep work matters!
Filiform corrosion starts small but spreads like a corrosive cancer underneath the clear coat. The filiform looks like spiderwebs spreading out across the aluminum but in active cases can look like a white powder that is bubbling up. Left untreated the corrosion just keeps eating away much like rust on the underside of a car.
Dealing with the corrosion is tedious but our team does an amazing job getting the root and arresting the growth. We then finish the job by coating over the etched area with our MAC Jacket to seal the repair.
Scratches show that you’re out using your rig and having fun … They’re kinda like stitches because they tell a story, but it’s not always one you want to remember every time you look at your rig. Our crew knows how to deal with the damage. This rig had these scratches all the way down the side. It took more time to remove these because this rig wasn’t covered with our permanent coating, but we eventually were able to get it looking like new.
Here’s the same rig post scratch removal. Aluminum needs to be treated with kid gloves because it can scratch and swirl even during washing and especially during a repair process, and then you’ve got another issue to deal with besides the original scratch. Each of our MAC locations can handle these repairs and we’re thrilled to offer these new services.
